“The retreat run by David and Michele Lambert is - for me - one of the very best places to write. The setting is lovely, the hospitality fantastic but more than this: there is a great sense of both peace and productivity.”
C. Freeborn, Cambridge
I simply wouldn’t have a novel or an agent without Le Verger. Thank you doesn’t cut it.

"Le Verger was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone studying AS or A2 level French no matter what grade you are hoping to get. It helped me become so much more confident in my speaking, especially constructing a debate and discussion. David & Michèle are excellent teachers, always very encouraging, but also making sure you challenge yourself to improve." Jenny, Hills Road Sixth Road College, Cambridge
